Thoughts on this dark era…
‘Powerful people don’t make threats.’ They do away with you. Silently. Often, pretending a friendly face.
‘The Black Lodge has always been embroiled in drama.’ It will never change. At least any time soon. It’s something you need to live with.
‘Breaking legs is easier than healing them.’ Minor baneful magic is the easiest to manifest, many profane have done it.
‘I don’t start fights, I finish them.’ I remember someone told me if you delay the confrontation for too long if you pussyfoot around it just makes it worse.
‘The momentum is all it takes.’ It’s either going already, or it’s not. Once it is there, it cannot stop. Even if you want it to. Can’t stop the ball is already rolling.
‘The bucket of shit gets passed around until it ends with someone.’ Who is that gonna be? The weakest person around, the one with the most debt, the one with least reliable allies, the one with a feeble mind, the one with the most openings in their aura for black magic to manifest.
‘The Black Lodge has always been governed by the Natural Law, propelling the most suited at the top.’ They excelled at something. Always. All I see around is painful mediocrity trying to rise.
‘A Black Magician who resorts to virtue signal has truly lost it.’
‘Powerful people don’t make threats.’ They do away with you. Silently. Often, pretending a friendly face.
This was one of my first lessons. I have lived by these very words since…
