Lacking a spine is a very substantial defect on the path of Black Magic. Not only will the Spirits treat you as expendable, but so will everyone else once they have seen enough treachery. Notorious traitors find themselves surrounded by only those alike, which is, ultimately, the type of company nobody wants to keep – not even the snakes. What I am saying is if you want good people to stand up for you in need, you have to come to call likewise when summoned.
I have made it known that I’ve been under extreme duress lately. I’m experiencing the worst case of spiritual oppression in my entire lifetime. This has given me a new vantage point. Like standing alone on Mountain Doom, it became inevitable to clean out all the people who insisted on showing me that they really do not care if I live or die.
Sure. Nobody can force you to care about fellow men. But what goes around comes around. The only reward for being a treacherous snake is to end up alone, by poisoning yourself gradually. I will never speak of these people again, mention their names, or tell their story. Being heard and being spoken to is a privilege among the Brethren. Those who have chosen gross treachery against their fellow men have banished themselves from the Black Lodge, of their own free will.
The Bonds of Brotherhood is what redeems all.

The “Bonds of Brotherhood”, indeed! I very much hope that your transposition to the Antipodes results in a change of fortune for the better but, notwithstanding that, despite the fact that you are at the opposite end of the earth, you are still an inspiration. It is the case that initiation, awakening or enlightenment occurs in a foreign country, by the way. (You touched on that in a recent post.) Speaking from experience, it is the only and best way: one has to be an outcast, literally, to embrace the Dark Paths.
The Outcast Destiny is a true trope.
