Don’t ever let yourself to get so thirsty that you will drink from any cup you are then being offered. This is how you get poisoned. There is wisdom in modest approach or temperance but also in being aware of what one’s burning desires are. A desire that goes unfulfilled can be seen as a weakness or as a means to grow into power. The choice is yours.
All I am saying is that if you are always going thirsty, that thirst then becomes too easy to quench by any cup offered, and in taking that drink without any consideration creates consequences which might make it the most expensive liquor you have ever tasted.
