People think that the most famous love story of our times, Romeo and Juliet is about Love. Love as in Romance, Lust, and attaining one’s personal satisfaction. It’s not.
That’s not what this is about at all.
It is about whether the Capulets and the Montagues can find peace and reconcile without the bloodshed. It’s about coming to the inevitable conclusion that Violence Is Not the Answer.
The answer is Love.
As in Unity. Unification. Overcoming our differences. Building bridges over chasm.
It’s the only thing that matters now.
